As you know, I am a huge fan of Veronica Beard. When they reached out to me to make a selection from their new Spring collection, I knew exactly the piece I wanted: the Holden Jacket with it’s whimsical sequin patches.
Known for their jackets due to the popularity and functionality of their iconic convertible blazer, a jacket from Veronica Beard is always going to be special. You can read more about the brand and the sisters-in-law founders here. The army style jacket with sequin embroidery will be a favorite in my closet forever. I’m a big fan of the army green color as you’ve seen here, here and here.
This jacket is a show stopper. I wore it to Cabo during Spring Break and was stopped 4 times and asked about it. My husband said, “Why didn’t you give them your card so they could buy it from you!?!?” I guess I need to be better about that!
I’ve also worn with shorts or a tshirt dress. I even threw it over this closet staple last week. I know I’ll be reaching for it over and over again. The sleeves roll down making it a great jacket for our changing spring temps. (Why was is 44 degrees this am!?!?) If bling is not your thing (but really why not!?!?), this army jacket is also a great addition to your wardrobe.
I paired this great jacket with my favorite VB denim the 10″ Carolyn Baby Boot in Classic Wash with colorful trim. These are a cropped boot cut but are a little longer on my 5’2″ frame. I also have the tuxedo stripe in dark denim. These jeans are so comfortable and stylish at the same time. Their Secret Skinny Pockets create a slimming effect and guarantee a fabulous, skinny fit. These new white jeans are in my cart!
I’ve been wearing these wedges non-stop as you’ve seen on the blog and Instagram. I found them for you in all sizes and on sale!!! They are whole sizes only and I usually wear a 35 1/2 or 5 1/2 so purchased a 35 and they fit perfectly! This will be your go-to wedge this summer and beyond.
I’m in Durham, Winston-Salem and Chapel Hill on a college trip with my oldest and one of her friends. If you have recommendations, I’d love to hear them!
Thank you to Veronica Beard for collaborating on this post. All selections and opinions are my own.
