With this crazy super cold weather we’ve had this week, I couldn’t be happier to be heading to the beach tomorrow. However, I know that weather will be just temporary and I’ll be right back here in the freezing cold.
How do people do it who really have a full on winter!?!? Having the right gear and layering is how! I’ve been wearing this cozy top over and over. It feels like wearing pjs but is totally appropriate for out of the house. (wink, wink) It comes in 16 colors and I’ve already ordered two more. Great for layering and looking pulled together.
A great coat is a must as well. This Moose Knuckles mid length parka would be perfect for this deep freeze. I love glam touch the pom poms and fur trim add. This down coat is also waterproof making it really great for Texas winter with the varying temps and rain. Moose Knuckles is a Canadian brand with a long history of making high quality coats and jackets. The short version would be great on the slopes, too.
I’ve worn these super warm boots every day this week. When it’s 15 degrees, real winter gear is required. I always get so many compliments when I wear them. I’ve put two other colors in the boutique below. I love the new cream and gray version. These are perfect “apre ski” boots if you are planning to head to the slopes for President’s Day weekend or Spring Break. They’re also perfect for frigid soccer games!
This pullover feels like you’re wearing a teddy bear and is my go-to at the end of the day. I’ve posted it on Instagram and Instagram Stories and it’s been so popular with readers. I think I need the black version, too. Other favorites for looking great while staying warm are in the boutique below.
I’m excited to share our getaway with you so be sure to follow The Lush List on Instagram and Instagram Stories. I have a special post coming next week that has been a long time in coming. If you’ve not registered for the newsletter, you’ll want to do that now so you don’t miss it. You’ll also receive a special gift!
Thank you to Moose Knuckles for sponsoring this post. All selections and opinions are my own.
