Black for spring? Yes! Wait, you thought I was making an effort to wear more color and print. Yes, I am but wearing black always makes me feel good about myself. It’s easy to look pulled together even when it is a simple shift dress like this one. It’s the little details that make the difference!
The ruffle on the sleeve and textured fabric help to elevate it from just a plain tshirt dress. It’s another one of those dresses I know I’ll reach for when I want be in PJs all day but have get dressed for a lunch or meeting. And at $45 I wish it came in more colors! (Note: This was low in stock when I wrote this last night so I’ve also pulled some great detailed LBDs for Spring below!)
I’ve paired it with the new version of the Rockstud City Sandal and the IT Bag for spring and summer, the Cult Gaia Ark bag. It has sold out now three times but was restocked yesterday in both sizes! I have the small and think it is the perfect size for day or night. It fits my a lot of bang for your buck!, Big-O key ring, iPhone Plus and my new favorite gloss. I was at NorthPark yesterday was literally stopped by every sales associate in Tory Burch asking to look at it and where to get one. Even a little boy at Trader Joe’s was enthralled! You really need one and for $128 it’s a lot of bang for your buck!! I’ve spiced it up another notch with this cute scarf from the Ann Taylor gals I met with the rewardStyle Conference.
